I’d rather do more frequent flyovers than wait for something to go wrong up there—especially with how unpredictable Midwest storms can be.

That’s a solid approach, honestly. I’m a bit skeptical about drones catching everything, but you’re right—spotting missing tabs or nails early is a big deal. I’ve seen folks ignore those little things and end up with water stains in the attic after one bad windstorm. For me, it’s drone check after every major storm, then a closer look if anything looks off. Beats climbing up there every time, especially on a steep pitch.
