Been thinking about getting up there and checking out the roof now that winter's finally done. Last year I climbed up myself, but honestly, heights aren't exactly my favorite thing, you know? Plus, I'm not even sure I'd spot all the potential issues anyway. On the other hand, hiring someone feels like it might be overkill (and pricey). Curious what most of you do—do you handle it yourself or just bite the bullet and call a pro?

If heights aren't your thing and you're unsure about spotting issues, hiring someone might actually save you money long-term. Pros typically catch subtle stuff like loose shingles or minor flashing damage... things that easily get overlooked DIY.
