Saw this news clip yesterday about a neighborhood that's been complaining about metal roofs installed on new houses nearby. They say the noise from rain is unbearable. Seems kinda exaggerated to me, but maybe I'm wrong...anyone here actually lived under one?

Lived under one for a couple years, and honestly, it's not that bad. Yeah, heavy rain can get a bit noisy, but "unbearable" seems like a stretch... kinda soothing actually, like white noise. Maybe those neighbors just really hate rain?
