But is it really necessary for them to see the delivery ticket every single time? I get wanting to prevent fraud, but it almost feels like they’re assuming we’re all trying to pull a fast one.

Had that happen last year when my gutters got wrecked in a hailstorm. I sent in photos, but apparently not "enough angles." They wanted the packaging from the replacement parts too, which I'd already tossed. Seemed over the top, but I guess it depends on who you get. Does anyone actually keep all those labels and wrappers? I’m starting to wonder if I need a whole folder just for shingle barcodes...

Honestly, I get why they want proof, but it feels a bit much. I mean, who’s really saving every wrapper from a gutter or shingle? I tossed mine without thinking twice. Maybe it’s just the adjuster covering their own back, but it does make you wonder if they’re just looking for reasons to deny stuff.
