I recently put in a green roof and used one of those liquid rubber membrane products to keep things dry underneath. Application was pretty easy, but I'm kinda skeptical about long-term durability, you know? Curious if anyone else has experience with this stuff holding up over time.

I've used liquid rubber membranes on a few projects over the years, and honestly, they've held up better than I initially expected. Had one client with a rooftop garden setup that's been going strong for about six years now—no leaks yet, knock on wood. Did you apply multiple coats or just one thicker layer? I've found that layering it up a bit tends to help longevity. But yeah, nothing's bulletproof...regular checks still go a long way.

- Good to hear yours is still leak-free after six years... gives me hope for my DIY rooftop garden.
- I went with multiple thin coats (probably overkill, knowing me).
- Regular checks are key, totally agree—learned that the hard way with my gutters last fall, lol.
