Been thinking about finally setting up a rooftop garden this spring, but I'm kinda worried about biting off more than I can chew. I mean, watering, pruning, pest control...sounds relaxing in theory but, um, reality check? Curious how much time you all actually spend weekly keeping things alive and looking decent. Quick poll: roughly how many hours per week do you spend tending your rooftop plants?
- Less than 1 hour
- 1-3 hours
- 3-5 hours
- More than 5 hours
- Gave up, now it's a rooftop desert

I probably spend around 2 hours weekly, mostly watering and checking for pests. It's manageable once you get into a routine. Curious though, anyone using automatic irrigation systems? Wondering if they're worth the setup hassle...
