ROOF SURVIVED HURRICANE, BUT WAS IT JUST LUCK?

I’ve got a metal roof with peel-and-stick underlayment too, and honestly, it’s still pretty loud when rain hits hard. I think the underlayment helps a bit with noise, but not enough to justify the cost just for that. For water protection though, especially in hurricane country, I’d say it’s worth it.
