Had this annoying rattling noise coming from one of my air vents lately, drove me nuts especially at night. Thought I'd have to call someone in, but figured I'd poke around first. Turns out, the screws holding the vent cover were just loose enough to cause vibrations. Tightened them up and boom—silence restored. Felt kinda silly it was that simple, but hey, saved myself a few bucks.
Also, noticed another vent wasn't pushing air properly. Took the cover off and found a bunch of dust and pet hair clogging things up. Quick vacuum job and airflow improved big time. Guess I should probably clean those more often, huh?
