Was just thinking earlier, imagine if the paint we use at home or on cars was as durable as those heavy-duty industrial metal coatings. Would it change how often we repaint stuff, or would it be overkill? Curious what you all think.

I'd definitely repaint less often if regular paint held up like industrial coatings. But honestly, it might be overkill for most home uses. Think about itβyour tastes change, styles shift, and sometimes you just get bored with a color after a few years. Plus, heavy-duty coatings can be trickier to apply smoothly on walls or furniture... not exactly DIY-friendly. Great for durability, sure, but probably more hassle than it's worth for everyday stuff.
