Just read this local news piece about a family whose attic moisture buildup got so bad it caused mold issues and even structural damage. Yikes. It got me thinking about my own attic situation, which has been a bit of a nightmare lately. Last weekend, I finally bit the bullet and installed some baffles and rafter vents to improve airflow up there. Honestly, it was a sweaty, dusty mess—I'm still coughing insulation—but hoping it'll help prevent any moisture problems down the road.

The article mentioned that poor attic ventilation is way more common than people think, and it can really mess up your home's structure and energy efficiency. I never really paid attention to attic airflow before, figured it was just one of those things you ignore until there's a problem, you know? But now I'm wondering if maybe I waited too long to address it.

Curious if anyone else has had similar attic adventures or horror stories. Did improving ventilation actually make a noticeable difference in your home comfort or energy bills?
